Earlier today Miami Book Fair announced over 400 authors that have confirmed to appear at their festivities between November 17-24. The actual street fair for the 36th annual Miami Book Fair will be held at Downtown Miami MDC Wolfson Campus, from Friday, November 22 through Sunday, November 24. John Waters
The provocative filmmaker of cult classics like Pink Flamingos, Hairspray, and Serial Mom, recently published the memoir/advice book Mr. Know-It-All: The Tarnished Wisdom of a Filth Elder.
Debbie Harry
The lead singer of Blondie wrote a memoir titled Face It, that is due out on October 1. The singer of New Wave classics “Call Me” and “Rapture” has a local connection having been born in Miami, before making it big in New York.
Joy Harjo
The United States Poet Laureate’s collection of poetry How We Became Human: New and Selected Poems 1975-2001, was earlier this year named The Big Read. Other renowned poets that will be present include Richard Blanco and Sharon Olds. We ran an interview with Joy earlier this year you can read here.

Chris Ware
Miami Book Fair always comes strong in representing comic books (or graphic novels if you prefer). 2019 is no different with Chris Ware presenting the precise poignancy of his newest volume Rusty Brown. Others representing the funny books world include the creator of the new Ms. Marvel, G. Willow Wilson, along with Carey Pietsch, Brian Fies, and Dean Haspiel.
