 Description:

In Miami’s Little Havana, a journalist is executed with a single bullet between the eyes on a quiet street. The shooter is a professional. The only man willing to investigate is Comanche, a self-described ex-investigator whose moral compass points somewhere between justice and survival.

What begins as a straightforward off-the-books investigation pulls Comanche into a web of cockfighting rings. And Cuban exile secrets, a widow with something to hide, and a killer who crossed an ocean for a debt that was never going to be forgiven.

Red Fish is the sixth installment in the Comanche series. The series has already produced five novels published in Spanish to strong critical reception. In 2018, Varsovia won a Florida Book Award. And the English translation of El Blues del Comanche, published as Comanche P.I. by Jitney Books, was named Best Book of the Year by Miami New Times in 2025.

PRAISE FOR RED FISH

Teresa Dovalpage, author of the acclaimed Havana Mystery series.
