Betsy Hotel Celebrates International Jazz Day April 30

Wednesday, April 30 is International Jazz Day and The Betsy Hotel is ready to bebop through the early night. From 8-11 pm, the hotel’s Piano Bar located at 1440 Ocean Drive, Miami Beach, FL 33139 will showcase live music with no cover charge featuring opening sets from 6 PM to 8 PM: Don Echols (Flute), and Kat Iwanusa (Sax), with Kameo DeAngelo (Keys). The Betsy Hotel, a Michelin Key hotel and home to Miami Beach’s longest-running live music series, proudly presents a captivating tribute to Florida’s rich jazz legacy to celebrate International Jazz Day 2025. On Wednesday, April 30, the hotel’s Piano Bar will immerse guests in the soulful sounds of funk and soul performed by some of the region’s most talented musicians. Returning for its second year, this special event continues The Betsy’s commitment to celebrating the cultural impact of jazz.

Presented in collaboration with Diaspora Vibe Cultural Arts Incubator (DVCAI), the event is supported by the Greater Miami Convention and Visitors Bureau, the City of Miami Beach, Florida International University’s Wolfsonian Public Humanities Lab, the Plutzik Goldwasser Family Foundation, The Miami Foundation and the Jorge Pérez Family Foundation CreARTE Program. The evening will showcase a blend of music, history and community, offering a memorable experience where every note tells a story.
