Hassan Whiteside Should Not Be Traded

Hassan Whiteside is a beast. But he’s not very brainy. He should not be traded, but maybe he should  enroll in a Communication Class at Barry University or Miami Dade.

The Hassan Whiteside “rant” after the Nets game caused unnecessary commotion during a critical time of the season. Bad press, bad vibes. Even if right, which Whiteside was. Coach Spo messed up by playing smaller. In a must win game, the defense crumbled and gave up 109 points to one of the worst teams in the league.

Yet, when Hassan Whiteside does something wrong, he always returns with a vengeance. He played great against the Hawks and earned his 28 minutes, especially during critical moments. Hassan Whiteside and J. Rich were crucial in the Heat closing out the Hawks to clinch a spot in the Playoffs.

But now there is all this gossip about possibly trading Whiteside.

Did you read the Bleacher Report article that had the Heat trading him to half their rivals?

Last year Whiteside lead the league in rebounds, the year before in Blocks. How can anyone say he is not a top 10 Center in the NBA? Trading him is a terrible idea. An even better idea is training him in how to communicate better. Seriously. He should 100% enroll in a Communications class at Barry University or Miami Dade College or the U or anywhere. I’m half way kidding but not really. Like he needs a legitimate Professor to school him on how to communicate.

Take some classes like “Snapchat for Dummies”, “How Not To Talk To the Press”, and “Don’t Get Fined at Playoff Time” — you know, the basics.

But in all seriousness, when Hassan Whiteside is mad, he plays better. And this is not the worst time of the year for him to play better.

All kidding aside, Hassan Whiteside still has a massive upside and is one of the best players on the Miami Heat. Let’s see what they do with him.
