How to Convert PDF Books for Better Reading on Kindle

Amazon Kindle is a highly convenient tool for reading e-books. It is portable and multifunctional, so you can read comfortably. However, many users face problems when reading PDF books on Kindle. The main reason is that this format is often not adapted to the small screens of e-readers. This makes it difficult to navigate the text.

Causes of PDF problems on Kindle and How They Manifest

The PDF format was designed to preserve the original appearance of documents. This preservation of the original appearance was intended to be unaffected by the device on which the documents are opened. However, it is this “immutability” of the design that makes it difficult to read on small screen devices. So, when a PDF is opened on a Kindle, the following problems often occur:

  • The text is too small,
  • There is no possibility of scaling,
  • Navigation between pages remains cumbersome.

To solve these problems, you need to convert the PDF to the format that Kindle will support best. This can be AZW3 or MOBI. There are various solutions to do this. They include the use of specialized software and online services.
