Local Author Book Fair Is This Saturday at Main Library

This Saturday, January 20 from 1 to 5 pm come join Jitney Books at the Main Library for the local author book fair.  Located at 101 West Flagler Street, in Downtown Miami, Miami-Dade Public Library has organized a fun, activity packed literary day.

There’s going to be over 50 local authors reading, hobnobbing and selling their books. Kids will have plenty to do as they’ll have craft activities making zines and bookmarks, there will be face painting and even a couple drawing classes, by pro comic book artist Ralph Cabrera.

It’s a free event. Authors will be selling their books. But since the local author book fair takes place at a library, if you’re low on funds you don’t have to go home empty handed. As long as you have a library card everyone can take home something to read.
