Miami Girls Rock Camp Finale Concert – Sunday Night at Space

For the 10th consecutive summer, Miami Girls Rock Camp (MGRC) returns to amplify the voices of girls and gender-expansive youth, equipping them with the tools to build confidence, foster community, and express themselves through the power of music and performance.

Since 2015, MGRC has offered programming that includes instrument instruction, band practice, songwriting, workshops on self-advocacy, and live sets by visiting artists and DJs; all culminating in a high-energy finale concert.

This year’s Finale Concert will take place on Sunday, August 2nd at The Ground at Space, one of Miami’s most iconic music venues. The all-ages event features live performances from 10 brand-new camper bands, showcasing original songs created during camp week, followed by a celebratory dance party with DJ Lolo.

“This isn’t just a concert ; it’s a community celebration,” says Heather Burdick, MGRC co-director. “For 10 years, we’ve watched young people, some who’ve never touched an instrument, step into their power and own the stage. It’s truly inspirational.”
