Miami Immersive Intensive Launches This June

An exciting cultural milestone is happening right here in Downtown Miami with the first annual  Miami Immersive Intensive (MII), co-produced by two of Miami’s leading arts innovators—Juggerknot Theatre Company and Live Arts Miami—from June 26–29, 2025.

Miami Immersive Intensive is more than a training—it’s a movement. Designed as a four-day convening of national and local artists, MII features workshops, keynotes, and curated immersive outings with pioneers in the field, including:

  • Mikhael Tara Garver, director of Disney’s Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser
  • Lauren Storr, Senior Producer at Punchdrunk (Sleep No More)
  • Alexandra Renzo, Creative Director at Meow Wolf

And we’re especially proud to spotlight Miami’s own local legends:

  • Octavio Campos, acclaimed choreographer and director of intermedia performance
  • Pioneer Winter, award-winning dancer and artistic director of Pioneer Winter Collective
  • France-Luce Benson, celebrated playwright of Miami Bus Stop Stories
  • Natasha Tsakos, known for pioneering live performance in microgravity
  • Tanya Bravo, producer of Miami Motel Stories and founder of Juggerknot Theatre Company

This initiative marks a turning point in Miami’s cultural landscape—creating access to world-class immersive training without having to leave the city. We’re positioning Miami as a global hub for immersive storytelling, with a program designed to train local and national artists in the tools, language, and methodology of immersive and site-specific experiences while fostering collaboration with industry leaders both nationally and internationally.
