Suwannee Spring Reunion Is Four Days of Fun

I recently heard about Suwannee Spring Reunion from a friend of mine, and the family-friendly music festival intrigued me. Having attended Hulaween at the The Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park (SOSMP) in Live Oak, FL in the past, I jumped at the opportunity to bring my five year old daughter up there for an unforgettable experience of her own.

Suwannee Spring Reunion allows festival goers to experience four days and nights of music rooted in Americana, newgrass, bluegrass, folk, blues, and more. Featuring music on multiple stages throughout the forest filled with mossy live oak trees, I’m looking forward to the picturesque setting amid a family-style friendly vibe. Aside from the music, they have workshops by a wide range of performers at the festival, jam sessions, as well as pickin’ parties throughout the campgrounds. As an adult who has enjoyed a variety of music festivals, I love the idea of having the opportunity to introduce my daughter to the experience in a more family-oriented iteration.

The woods light up to the sounds of campground pickin’ and performers can often be found joining right along with attendees around the campfires. The park itself is a place where kids of all ages can remember why they fell in love with the magic mixture of sights, sounds, and sensations that constitutes a weekend of paradise that is the Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park. Matching the history on the stage, longtime park hosts, Beth and Randy Judy, are partnering with the Spirit of the Suwannee to make sure that every piece is in place to make an epic weekend of music and fun.

Tickets are on sale now. Suwannee Spring Reunion offers a multi-day Weekend Ticket from March 23-26 that includes festival admission for four days of music, as well as primitive camping on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights. Children 12 and under are free if accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
